Third CMAT From May 19

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has released the notification for additional (Third) Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2013), which will be held from May 19 to 22, 2013.

Accordingly registration of applications online already began on March 10 and would come to end on April 10.

Candidates who had appeared for both previous CMAT of this academic session i.e conducted in September 2012 and February 2013 will not be eligible to take this test. However candidates who appeared in only one of these two tests may apply for this additional CMAT, as per the notification.

Also candidates who are currently studying the final year of qualifying exams may also apply for this CMAT.

The CMAT Additional Test has been announced as few State Governments made special request for conducting it to facilitate those who could not appear in one of earlier two CMATs. A candidate is eligible for two chances in CMAT for betterment of his/her score according to the prospectus.

Important CMAT Dates :
  • Online Registration - March 10 - April 10, 2013
  • Hall Ticked Printout - May 3
  • Onlin CMAT - May 19 - 22 , 2013
  • Test Timings - 9.30AM-12.30PM, 2.30PM-5.30PM
  • Results - June 1, 2013

CMAT is conducted online and it consists of 4 sections with about 25 questions in each section. The marks distribution is equal over all the questions and the test is total of 400 marks. The sections are - Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness.
