Predominance begin given to English language will once again enslave the country was another point of contention and the MPs raised the slogans of “Angrezi mein kaam na hoga, desh phir ghulam na hoga (No to English, India will not be enslaved again).” This caused the Loksabha to be adjourned.

The Hindi and Non-Hindi camps were observe to be unanimous, which is very rare, was enough for the government to decide to freeze the order.
